How to use Spinshare
A short walkthrough for getting your profile set up, shipping your first drop, and customising how your page looks.
Getting Started
First and foremost, decide how you want to use Spinshare. If you’re here to monetize your audience, make sure to enable payouts by linking either Stripe or PayPal. If you’re here to collaborate, you can skip this step for now.
Release a Drop
Now it’s time to release a drop. Spinshare makes this process super simple.
If you already use Dropbox or Google Drive, you’re almost ready to go. There’s no need to re-upload your files.
Spinshare includes built-in leak prevention and a built-in media player that keeps your Dropbox or Google Drive links protected from being shared publicly. It also makes it easy for your followers to listen to and download the files you share.
To use this feature, make sure to connect your storage account by clicking “Connect Dropbox”.
Once connected, simply paste your folder links, and your drops will automatically be displayed like this:
Build Your Crew
Spinshare isn’t just about creating your own page and calling it a day. Music is collaborative by nature, and Spinshare is built to help you connect with other creators.
Use the Discover tool to find other producers, and collaborators on Spinshare. When you find someone you vibe with, follow them to add them to your Crew.
Once someone is part of your Crew, you’ll get notified whenever they release something new, making it easy to stay connected, support each other, and collaborate consistently.
Customize Your Profile
We all know how important branding is online, so make sure to personalize your profile.
Head over to your profile settings to give your page a custom touch: choose your favorite colors, upload images, and customize your look.
Once you’re done, you’re all set! Share your link with your friends so they can check out what you drop.
